In my work, I strive to create beautiful spaces that stand the test of time. I believe in blending the old with the new, the classic with the contemporary, to achieve a unique and timeless aesthetic.
This collection features a curated selection of projects I successfully completed during my tenure with Tobey Design Group. For each renovation, I collaborated closely with the project team and was responsible for the entire interior design process—from initial concept through project management to final execution. All images were captured using an iPhone.
A Lakeside Family Retreat
Central Maine
Nestled on a private 17+ acre lakeside estate, this former summer camp was transformed into a luxurious family compound. The 4,500-square-foot main lodge, with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, was entirely reimagined to meet the distinctive needs of a large, active family. Stripped to the studs and rebuilt from the ground up, the home embodies custom craftsmanship and attention to detail. From the expansive chef’s kitchen to the striking staircase that spans three floors, bespoke finishes and carefully curated design elements integrate effortlessly throughout the residence.
This project, led by me at Tobey Design Group, was a close collaboration with both the architectural team and the clients, ensuring every choice reflected their vision, lifestyle, and refined taste. I sourced unique antiques and guided the client’s natural design instincts, crafting a home that is not only beautifully personalized and impeccably finished but also practical enough to withstand the daily life of a bustling household.
A Fresh Start at Home
Seacoast, New Hampshire
Designed under my leadership at Tobey Design, this project involved a comprehensive renovation of a family home built in the early 2000s. With their children grown, the clients sought to update their space with custom details and high-end finishes they had always envisioned.
The kitchen became the focal point of the transformation, featuring bespoke cabinetry with unique profiles crafted in collaboration with a skilled millworker. We modernized the space by replacing the flooring and redesigning the staircase, while also adding elegant moldings to the foyer. To enhance the home's flow, we removed walls to seamlessly connect the kitchen, dining room, and entry foyer. The powder room received a stylish update with a custom sink stand, a specialty vessel sink, and a backsplash that gracefully follows the curve of the vanity mirror.What began as a simple kitchen and powder room redesign evolved into a full-scale refresh of the main living areas, resulting in a home that not only increased in value but also better serves the family’s current lifestyle.
